The Taj Mahal: Table Of Index — Site Layout
The Taj complex has the following important buildings that are shown in a series of pictures below the text:

So in the picture above we have a ground layout of the Taj Mahal. As with all Mughal work, the Taj houses a multitude of buildings inside a gated and walled complex. We see the main tomb, the Taj Mahal on the left middle. Right at its back is the Jamna River.
Also take a look at the Taj complex as it stands today from Google Maps. You can see the Yamna river on top, the Taj Mahal close to it and the sprawling complex of the Char Bagh garden, the Main gateway and then the walled Court in front of it.
